Both films earned a Silver Telly Award, and add to DreamPlay Media’s earlier wins for Meet Me in Ironbound and A King’s Love in Newark.

We wish to thank the City of Newark, New Jersey for trusting us with these projects, as well as the guests who participated in the films. We also want to send a special shout out to the four poets who starred in Liberation, Bimpé Fageyinbo, Mia X, Kween Moore and Jasmine Mans. And finally a special thank you to our team and crew for their dedicated work on behalf of these socially important and historic projects.
