The event began with a welcome reception and featured the projection of BLACK MOSES RISING and LIBERATION 4K resolution, which provided a rare and stunning film presentation format for the public audience.

The film program was followed by a panel discussion between artist/architect Nina Cooke John, Aisha Browne Glover, VP, Urban Innovation at Audible, producer Igor Alves, and poet Bimpé Fageyinbo. The panel also included a Q&A portion with the audience, and it was moderated by Michele Morgan-Truvillon, in representation of fayemi shakur, Director of Arts and Cultural Affairs at The City of Newark, NJ.
