Governor Phil Murphy :: Everything’s Political with Junius Williams
We were honored to welcome none other than New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy as the featured guest on a special episode of “Everything’s Political with Junius Williams.” This episode’s topic of discussion was youth civic engagement – and the groundbreaking “Vote16” effort in Newark in particular, whereby Newark students as young as 16 years old can vote in this year’s Newark school board elections. Through conversations about social justice issues, Junius Williams (Newark City Historian, founder of Abbott Leadership Institute and civil rights legend) and his guests connect the dots to reveal the true American experience, as it plays out in the community.
