Assistant Producer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist CEO / Managing Producer with planning, presentation and outreach.
  • Assist producers, directors, camera crew, editors and other team members on pre-production, production and post-production tasks.
  • Interface directly with clients to provide account updates and process feedback and any project queries.
  • Prepare daily paperwork including scripts, call sheets, meeting materials, notes and more.
  • Handle administrative work such as answering phones, scheduling, booking travel, organizing events, sharing assets, etc.

Internships

Whom and what we prefer

Accepted interns will be entrusted to work directly with the principals and staff on multiple projects. The internship will provide you with a diverse learning experience, and hopefully production credits and the opportunity to build your portfolio / reel / resume, but most importantly, your knowledge and relationships.

Locations: Newark, NJ and surrounding area.

Internships are UNPAID and for COLLEGE CREDIT ONLY. At this time, there is a travel and meal stipend only on production days – though you will have access to unique office perks / amenities. Awesome interns may receive a bonus stipend, be invited to extended their term or offered paid employment opportunities.

Expectations

  • Intern can commit 16 to 20 hours per week, performed during a minimum of 3 days per week for three (3) or six (6) months.
  • Regular office hours are 9am – 6pm, though production days and certain projects require work done outside this window.
  • Intern must be able and willing to work from locations in New Jersey (Newark and Lyndhurst), while some work may be done from home or school.

Openings

  • Editing of video, images, and sound for various projects
  • Help create titles, credits and transition effects
